Well, now that you "banned" using image plotting programs to create "pixel art" creations, there is a spike in even lower quality crap showing up on the first page, all beeing crappy freehand "pixel art". Congraulations. the first page is now made up of 50% "pixel art" creations, completely without any function other than beeing looked at. The community is really at a low point here. I think it is even worse than all the "i make u logo, duh" vote beggars (some were actually doing a good job here), because its more notorious, and far more useless.
I wouldnt know how to change it, but this is just my feedback (as this is in the feedback section),
And another thing is, the forum keeps giving me an error message "your title is too long, 45 characters limit". While I' m well below that, i still get this error message. Its more like 35 characters...
@MasterMind555(View Post) yeah, this is a particle sim not a paint app. And I hope to become experienced enough to soon help repopulate the front page with cool creations that actually DO something. Although, some of the art is actually pretty good
I'll be demoting some for now, that have too many votes. Too much is dedicated to pixel art, and trying to balance out votes on art and working projects.
@shroom207 i cant follow, maybe ID of the creation? And how is he blaickmailing you? (in a place thats only semi-real)
Yes, Its a sad thing indeed, and i just want to put some attention to it. I just ran TPT today and checked out what ppl are making, and i get flooded with pixel art. It seems creative and all at first, but its just not the way TPT was meant to be used. otherwise the devs could just add a color palette, or make community mod for MSPAINT.
I mean, i agree, some pixel art is ok, and if there is some motion going on (besides just breaking when you unpause it) i would totally tolerate it. but this is ridiculous.
Way to be butthurt over people legitimately trying their best instead of cheating the snot out of everything and ruining the fun for everyone else, ven1x.
Besides that, you can only go so far with designing machines. In a year or so people will either still be making pixel art or pumping out insanely complex electronics, so it's not going to leave anytime soon.
