(i make a big blob of C4 and some Gunpowder and all what it explodes a weird shock and no shiny looking fireball)
the way fire works is a bit weird and the pressure too high amount of pressure with explosives makes it a white weird looking fireshockwave and is pretty much perfectly! Round
also there should be a limit the amount of white glows seriously it doesn't look only boring it looks crap too same for lava!
Also i think when something moves pretty much quick AFAIK on 3600 Km/H the air starts to burst in flame We have Pressure right? and Air too! How about also an Heat grid? Or something like that i cannot imagine i am trying to heat up a Metal avoding direct contact but close to it nothing happens! Well try it out a thin sheet of C4 with lots of Oil it looks damn Boring only a big weird fire shockwave and as far as i know for example when a metal block is in a near of Plasma but having no direct contact it wouldn't melt or glow red
Yeah and what i hate that they all moan about "OMG LAG ETC!!!" seriously you dont send a mail to any Game developer and moaning you cant play it softly with an Graphic settings to the maximum?
i beat while TPT was developed at the very beginning where pressure etc gets intrucded moaned too about lags and such and see TPT is not that laggy as it seems
also no matter what kind of nukes has been made they are not close to the real ones yes i know realism is not always fun and TPT is meant to be fun but those Nuke explosion looks fun too no? Also i wonder if they really cant afford new stuff for Computer or are too lazy to upgrade it and like to moan about low performance
and a bit little offtopic: TPT cannot be made better with only Elements (Quantities rules?) it can be better with new features (Qualitie) and better Element handling doesn't mean adding more Elements of course adding some few more Element makes it a bit better but it depends what it is
For example alot of those GoL could be otherwise handled by making the user able to make its own Rules set and its Color it could be handled all the GoL are just actually named GoL i mean we have ctype , tmp etc... more usage of that wouldn't be bad and expanding too just like with the Elements this would also reduce clutters
i think tmp , life etc should the user be able to change it too and not with consoles because it can be sort of messy
Edit: i think someone mentioned it too when a element does ABSOLUTE nothing it shouln'dt be calculated and only be calculated when other Elements or pressure whatever has a contact with it and gets calculated i think IIRC TPT seems to calculate pretty much everything and reducing that wouldn't be bad i think
Edit: 2. Also i think Acid should act a bit like lava too so that it looks a bit more dangerously and not boring liquid that is umm yeah doing like all other liquids too.
Also i think every elements should be a bit more unique and showing different behaviour
We have Uranium and Plutonium BUT there gives other variants too! like Uranium-235 etc which is fissile afaik and our Uranium is NOT Fissile i think TMP for them would be nice an Uranium with TMP 235 could be Uranium-235 (istope 235) and would be fissile) and maybe glowing a bit different IIRC uranium is actually just a chunk of metal but there gives an uranium varian wich is yellowish but not glowing I think Radioactives that glows should be fissile
I can't understand what you're saying... "when something moves pretty much quick" "a bit more dangerously and not boring liquid" what does that even mean???
oh sorry i mean that acid has similar properties like lava which throws out a bit from itself like a sea of lava and lava is not uhm like a block it "throws" a bit from itself
When an element i think pressure 256 (3600 Km/H?) that it creates fire because of the Air rubbery is so high it burns the air
@Klotzstein(View Post) Your grammar, spelling, punctuation etc is apalling; it makes it difficult for me to understand. But.... What I can decipher I strongly agree with. +1 because TPT isn't realistic enough. I know it's not all about realism, but some more levels of realism would be great.
