VC++ versus CodeBlock

    Ok which should I compile with? Should I switch over to C++, or stay with CodeBlock? The instructions for CodeBlock have the use of Python (and I'm aware that there is a Python component in TPT now), and also usens MingW32. But VC++ only is C, not python, and does not have anything to do with MingW32. So is VC++ only good for the older versions of TPT. or also for newer versions?

    The new script console in TPT 47+ IS MADE IN PYTHON. If you can't compile in python, then you are out of luck.
