    coding may be hard (im not to say for idk code) and in a real light bulb the glass dosnt create light its the metal so hot thatit needs glass filled with air to continue to burn/be electrified i like that you thinking though +1/ it would go with the shade idea

    Actually lightbulbs are filled with an inert gas, the bulb would explode if it were filled with regular air and the filament would burn out much quicker.

    I think what would be a better way to put it is that the glass magnifies the glow from spark
