every time that there is a new powder toy there are a ton of those added. It has gotten annoying especially because i have no idea how to use them. So could you stop adding more or explain how i can use them? I realize they are extremely hot but i can never contain them.

There are usable patterns for the different life elements. There probably won't be any more new ones for awhile. Now the focus is on stability and functionality rather than new elements.

Life particles are extremely difficult to learn how to use. They're there mostly for the older and younger groups who're both familiar, and already experts with them.

Look on the wiki, it explains pretty well. If not, just google Conway's Game of Life.

I programmed a simple gol simulator, with the help of a programer at school, it's just a random simulation of growth, although I do agree, we don't need that many.

There aren't going to ever be anymore lol. The current GOL elements cover ALL the cool GOL rules in existence atm.

I don't know why people are complaining about it, it'd be no less trouble if the menu had 100 or 1 elements.

It isnt very hard to understand how it works.
All LIFE are in separate menu and you cant see them if you dont wont...
And also i have an idea: What about NORMAL starwars rules 345/2/4
