I completely agree... even though they look cool, and are awesome, they are a bit of a one-trick pony, I mean, it's Powder Toy, not Conway's Game of Life Toy... what we really need are some new electronics... (read: PCON and NCON :D)

Agree, we can always have more GoL, theyre pretty awesome, but i do think that they definitely shouldn't be TPT's only focus -

GOL is as much of a one-trick pony as a swiss army knife is to a lump of iron ore.
Besides that, the five new GOL elements were made ages ago, and there aren't any new ones coming up that we know of. Nothing to worry about. ;)
However I should point out that new elements are going to start phasing out of the new official versions, instead focusing on optimizations and code/element improvements for a while. There's bukus of glitches, placeholder elements that don't do enough, and reactions that could be improved upon. New elements aren't likely to be the focus of upcoming updates to Powder Toy.
