Gravity affects solids

Do you know how liquids fall downwards whenever they have the chance? And gases, since they are very light, they stay in the same place and diffuse (it stays in the same place when it's not being blown). However, when you create a solid, it stays fixated in one place in the screen. Would it be better if there was an option called 'fixate/unfixate solids' or a tick box with the option 'fixate solid'. When the solid is first created, this tick box would be ticked. If the solid should be broken into multiple pieces or smashed or whatever, the pieces would still be fixated/unfixated depending if the tick box was ticked.
For example, I create ice on the screen (in the shape of a 'U' with a flat bottom with very small surface area, but enough to make the 'U' shaped ice stand up) and untick the tick box. I then cause it to break into 2 pieces by erasing a bit of the bottom middle of the ice. Since the whole block/piece of ice was originally unfixated, both pieces will fall outwards since the pieces are unbalanced. Now the pieces are individual pieces of ice. They have their own option of being fixated or unfixated.
Lastly, I would like to suggest if it was a good idea if unfixated solids can be dragged without breaking. For example, I drag fixated ice. Instead of ice following my mouse cursor, snow or water follows it. However, when the ice is unfixated, the entire piece of ice follows the cursor. The cursor acts a bit like a rotating connection and the piece of ice spins around the mouse cursor depending on its velocity and direction.
If you wanted to move the ice without it spinning around the mouse cursor, you can select it and move it.

I'm know it's gonna be nearly impossible to code, but it's good idea.

it would be good but the whole site hates the idea, I think movable solids should be a new section of elements

have a look at this http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/box/
