Basically the two diamond boxes transmit heat between one another. Because they're tiny and only use one pixel they're kind of slow, but still! It can easily be made larger. >:D

Ooooh cool. But yeah I doubted I was the first, wasn't what I was aiming for.
I didn't think it could be done without a special element though. So when I figured it out I was like derp x_x
