Speed changer

This might have been asked before but I have heard of lots of people asking to make individual things faster and I am just wondering if you could have speed option. Maybe one frame actually being two just merged into one frame to double the speed. If this isn't possible then could we maybe have an option to move the FPS cap higher if you had a faster computer.

Right now even on a fast computer, It barely reaches 60 FPS. So that FPS cap as it is, is high enough.

I use the Cheat Engine's Speed Hack Function to speed Powder Toy up to set WIFI Channels (I have a slow CPU). The ironic part about it is that when I speed hack, I set it to 0.5 and my FPS goes UP, but thats general knowledge (Light travels so fast (186,282 miles per second) that if you moved that fast, everything else would seem slower). So is there a way to make TPT faster without major coding (and Speed Hacking)?

My comp runs PT at 60 fps using 20% cpu. PT itself seems to have a frame and speed cap. PT has never caused my processor to go past 30% (but the program itself slows down when in laggy sim).

This isn't really possible. TPT already runs as fast as possible on most computers, and making it skips frames would have no noticable effect at all due to how the time spent rendering is actually very small compared to the time spent calculating where the particles will move and how they will behave.
Locked by Catelite: Speed change would have zero effect in TPT
