Yours is pretty cool to have a toggle, maybe try messing around with PCLN +GoL to see if you can get a smaller one.

Here are mine that use GOL:

This is literally stronger than any other laser in all of TPT.

This is smaller than any other laser at 13 pixels, and it is more powerful than any other with a (non-solid) beam of a width of 1 pixel.

This is actually the strongest laser with a beam width of 1 pixel. This is because it has a beam that is solid (has no gaps)
But since it has no gaps, it is harder to heat, and thus it has to have a big piece of GOL heating it making it a very big laser.

These took a long time of trial and error, so I hope you like them

those are cool and all, but have nothing to do with the topic, it is NOT about photon lasers heated with GoL

it is about a powered GoL glider gun of some sorts.
