Tiny step down transformer

    Using the fact that aray takes time to fade I have created this step down transformer:

    Put battery on the inside and less sparks will come out!

    Yeah, I use these a lot. You can also make one with two pixels of water between metal, because water takes time to "re-spark."

    but the problem with the water capacitors is that they can overheat

    I would say that in powder toy they should be considered resistors. Don't argue, its what it does OK!

    And definitely brilliant, water resistors are bulky so its a big improvement.

    yes, i (and most likely others too) have thought of an idea of a timer element that the hotter it is, the longer it takes for it to accept and pass on another spark after the previous one. This would cut down on size for delay timers and would be a pretty good addition along with a resistor element that accepts sparks at the same rate, just the speed at which they travel decreases as the temperature increases.
