So, I have absolutely no idea how to do this, or if it even is possible. But I am suggesting a decoration layer. Let's get started: A decoration layer is a layer where you place decoration. Example:Imagine you've made an awesome engine. Tough you want to make it look like an engine, but thatj way it wouldn't work. So you get your decoration layer on and paint your engine. Decoration layer would have no physics and, as the name says, it would be 100% decoration. There would be added a new option on menu, that would be Decoration layer on/off. When it was on, the decoration menu would show up. The decaration menu is pretty much a drawing board. You get your colour then you paint your creation. I'm sure this wouldn't be (too) laggy and would make some cool stuff.
What about elements of different colors which return 2 on top of other elements, so it looks like a decoration, and doesnt interfere with anything, however, is there. we could add a new property called PROP_DECORATION and define it so that when a certain key is input, it erases them, but saves their positions. (try changing PRTI/PRTO code) If you like this idea, or think it seems feasible, say +3.14!
@Hellome Technical no. Before was a suggestion of WORKING layers. Though this is like making a cover for it, or plastic casing. +1
Yeah, like a cover. More for art. Just to make, for example, the drawing of a chimney on top of a WORKING chimney. Edit-Ninja'd And... Uhm... I don't get it pi guy
