That's Exactly what photons are.

You can make a laser out of photons. The way some people make them is by using PCLN to release photons that run down a void tube that's superheated by cloned plasma. Mine can go through glass, until the heat melts a layer of lava on the area, preventing it from going through. Ask me and I may be able to submit my simple laser for you. Or you can look up 'laser' and find other results. I think Yew101's mod and AntB's Fork Mod have a laser element.
