Heat distortion

    Is there any way that fire or materials that are hotter that a certain temperture give off heat wave/ distortions? You couls use a particle that cannot be heated or erased and is only afftected by air pressure or wind that would distort materials.

    In a way yet, but not really without some kind of ambient heat. Otherwise you'd need to use precious particles to do it, which would be messy.
