1. Neat and tidy:
Don't scribble down stuff, it looks bad. Try and keep stuff squared.
2. Eye candy:
The better the creations appearance is the more people will visit it.
3. Signs:
Don't put too many signs in because it will ruin the appearance.
4. Electronics:
Try and put electronic mechanisms in as much as you can. The less people understand how it works the more likely they will vote.
5. Don't ask:
Don't ask for votes, it's annoying.
6. Original:
Make it something that isn't very common. Something un-seen.
7. Logo:
Put a logo on it, it adds to tip 2 and it informs the viewer it's yours. If you have lots of good creations with logos on them you become more popular for those creations. Other wise people won't know that it's yours (most don't read the creator).
