Portals are powerful

everyone knows how portals work, you drop stuff in one, comes out the other. but a fact about portals I dont often see utilised is that there doesn't need to be an out portal. PRTI can store some items inside itself. this doesn't seem too interesting until you realise that since the particles don't exist in the world, but are merely stored in the PRTI's code, you can store NEUT and DEUT together without fission, you can store plasma safely, and it's compact. stats of things don't change in portals, so you can preserve particles that slowly die as well.

Much of this is also true for pipes, which are more manageable and destroyable. And unlike portals, which can only hold a small (and not always predictable) number of particles per temperature setting, pipe-based storage is easily expanded by simply increasing the number of PIPE/PPIP pixels.

Portals also sometimes forget whats inside them because I put water in a 22 C PRTI and after some more portal shenanigans I placed a 22C PRTO and nothing came out.
