    And why would we do that?

    Those are people's saves. They made them. :/

    It sort of defeats the point of saving if someone's gonna go behind you and delete it without your say.

    Ok, I see your point, but stuff like this:

    LoadSaveBlock(12754);

    I mean come on people!

    I Believe we need to have a Vote And a delete function Where a creation with such and such numbers of requested deletes should be removed. But Should there be more votes that deletes, The save remains.
    The function here described is similar or the same as the one the powder game has in operation currently.
    I believe it is in the best of this sites interests to pursue such actions

    Davpk:
    That makes sense
    But couldnt you just lock there ip or have there certain ip assignrd only one account so that more than one account vant be created or accessed from that ip?

    Just find a relatively new user and click their name, and see their UserID at the hyperlink.

    Why Cant we just Restart the entire save and user server?

    or have a set number of votes a upload must have and if it doesnt meet or go above that quoata than it is deleted.

    As in a complete wipe? No thank you, I wouldn't appreciate my work getting wiped, nor would anybody else.

    Just so everyone knows, there isn't a chance in heck of deleting random people's saves, purging the server selectively, or otherwise deleting people's stuff to save room. All things considered, we still only have maybe 90000 ish saves on the server right now not counting backups for individual saves. For a modern computer that isn't really all that bad, since they get compressed significantly before being sent.

    ...Kind of off topic considering the thread title.
