Going by posts sounds reasonable, however, how many people that do post good quality stuff aren't active posters. We don't want to unnecesarily exclude people that make good stuff and aren't active posters or even forum members at all.

Maybe lower that limit somewhat and if a first time poster does post good stuff, we can boost them in earlier?

I still say that it needs to be quality of saves, what does it matter if they post on forums, we are dealing with saves, not forum posts.

Well, regular for me is someone who is respected in the community or has great saves, not number of posts.

e.g., jacksonmj, who has made a very nice typewriter-like sim, has near to no posts at all.

I know we're trying to improve on quality, we're just trying to think of ways of how to do the whole thing.

If we do set a standard, at least make them flexible.

The standard would only affect pointless saves, not mid-range saves, and I gave Simon link on IRC

...Personally I think the new front page is a huge improvement. I don't care if the stuff on the front page is bad stuff, it's better than the same saves getting stuck there for months and months.

We could maybe use some kind of random sorting view so people can look at saves without any priority on votes or date.

We still need to get the server cleaned up IMHO.

All of the crappy pointless saves that clutter the server, did you read the first page, I gave a prime example on the last post of first page.
