Help Wanted: History of TPT Electronics

I'm thinking of starting a wiki page with a history of electronics in TPT, which would both serve to highlight some of the most impressive saves and technological developments of the last 12 years of TPT, and to act as a kind of tutorial for anyone wanting to learn electronics from the ground up. The things I'd like to cover are

    1. Which versions implemented the crucial electronic elements
    2. Who came up with the idea for those elements
    3. Which saves first developed the key ideas for electronics

Some pivotal saves i have in mind are

    - 8x8 LCD by codefeenix (pre-INST!)
    - Electronic things by Mur (thiugh I don't know if there was an older one...)
    - 8x6 line text display using original-flavour electronics by jacksonmj
    - INWR copier by cracker64
    - counter and advanced binary ARAY electronics by mecha-man
    - Subframe fundamentals, the R1 and R2 processors by LBPHacker
    - DRAY word writer by Sandwichlizard
    - Subframe tutorial series by mark2222 (+ colour video player, lightPC, counter...)
    - PHOT stack storage and 3D STOR rame by TPTScientist
    - Tutorial for serialization by cracker1000

So far, my research from trawling git commit history has the versions as

v38: start of git log on the legacy branch; PHOT, METL, PSCN, NSCN, PTCT, NTCT (Simon)
    v39?: BTRY(Simon)
    v40: SWCH, LCRY(Simon)
    v41: INWR, DLAY (Simon)
v44: INST, IRON (Simon), PUMP, HSWC (pilihp)
v45: FILT, WIFI ( pilihp), ARAY (Simon?)
    v46: INST mode for ARAY
v64: PROP edit tool, FILT modes, CONV
    v72: FRAY
    v82: FILT
    v88: DTEC-> FILT
    v90.2: DRAY

Still not categorised yet: the other sensors, PSTN (because I'm lazy)

I'd like to ask for the community's help in adding to/clarifying this list, because these are just the saves I remember from my patchy time here. There are likely many underappreciated, but quietly revolutionary saves that I've missed.
