Ctype of CRAY should be LIGH
Temp is the temperature of the resulting LIGH
Life should be as low as possible to prevent LIGH from "spreading out" once spawned (The LIGH extends farther when the life is higher, making the beam wider. You can also do this with more CRAY)
Tmp should be large to make a long beam.
Tmp2 controls the space between the CRAY and the LIGH beam.
I like using INWR to spark the CRAY, as that means the beam can go through things.
I think you could use 3 crays, one for shooting ligh (in the middle), and two that erases the ligh that is not needed. the other two could have the ctype of, say, plsm with a life of 3. and since ligh wont show when theres particles in the way (in this case, the plsm), you could techinically get a striaght line of ligh (the cray that shoots the ligh has the life of 2). but im not sure yet as i have not conducted any experiments with this. i will come back with updates.
