The difference between 0 and 100 degrees can be very important sometimes, while the difference between 6000 and 7000 degrees (or any similarly high temperatures) might not be important (most elements are molten at that temp anyway). However, with heat display, it is very hard to see differences in temperature less than a few hundred degrees without looking at the HUD.

Can you change heat display such that it is easier to see small (tens of degrees) differences at low (less than 2000 degrees) temperatures?
