    When I tried to unhide VRSS and VRSG by putting them in SC_SOLIDS and SC_GAS, nothing changed. Why is this?

    Because VRSS is a solid, and VRSG is a gas.

    EDIT: Ok I'm blind. You want to unhide them. There's a separate MenuVisible property that you have to set to 1, like this.
