Does anyone know how I could make glass that wont melt or shatter? I assume I would need to use console commands or something of that sort.

i guess you would copy dmnd and make phot refract instead of reflect in it, but im not even sure how glass does that

Neither do I. I would assume I would have to use Lua or something.

    CONV(GLAS) tmp: LAVA

hmm, didnt know that. although now that i've read the conv element page and experimented a bit, i think i figured out a solution that doesn't require writing lua or c++.

    1. make a vertical line of CONV
    2. draw GLAS over it, setting its ctype to GLAS
    3. use the prop tool to set its tmp to alternating BGLA and LAVA (this line of CONV will now convert both BGLA and LAVA into GLAS, making nearby GLAS virtually indestructible)
    4. copy the line of CONV, paste it with 2-pixel space in between. fill this space with BGLA

I was planning to use unbreakable/unmeltable glass as a lens for a laser that has temperatures above the melting point so I don't think this would work at all.
