WAVE - Wave Generator

Since we are in a period of advanced electronics in TPT, I feel that we should have something to go along with it. This element allows you to generate different waveforms onto a line of FILT, or even multiple.

Characteristics:

• Color - RGB(142, 161, 191)
• Category - Electronics
• Tooltip - "Wave Generator, changing the TMP changes the waveform."
• Outputs onto any line of FILT connected to it, but only in the 4 cardinal directions.

Properties:

 Changing the CTYPE changes the waveforms:

• 0x1, Triangle Wave
• 0x2, Square Wave
• 0x3, Sine Wave
• 0x4, Sawtooth Wave

Changing the TMP changes the amplitude:

• [0-29][0-29], where the first set determines the height of the wave from the resting position, and the second set determines the depth of the wave from the resting position. Resting position is the middle-most wavelentgth in the FILT spectrum.

Changing the TMP2 changes the wavelength:

• 1-101 determines the wavelength in frames. The higher the number, the longer the wave generator stays at a certain point in the spectrum.

Uses:

Compact oscillators. If you need a FILT oscillator for a clock, computer, etc, you can compact it down to just one pixel of WAVE.

FM/AM modulation. You can now accurately simulate a carrier wave to modulate.

PWM. You can now accurately simulate Pulse Width Modulation for your creations.
