    SCLE - Scale

    Characteristics:

    • Tooltip: “Scale, outputs the weight of whatever is on it.”

    • Color: rgb(196, 227, 41)

    • Under “Sensors” Category

    • Outputs to regular conductors (METL, PSCN, TTAN, etc.), or FILT

    Properties:

    • The weight of all particles above pixels of SCLE will be outputted to FILT, but only if the material(s) are touching the top of the SCLE.

    • There are 3 .TMP Modes:

Mode 1: Default, Outputs the weight of the elements vertically connected to FILT.

Mode 2: Higher, Outputs the weight on FILT and SPRKs conductors if it is higher than the temp.

Mode 3: Lower, Same as Mode 2, but only if the weight is lower than the temp.

    • SCLE is expandable, so you can expand the measuring base horizontally while keeping only 1 output.
    • Each element has a weight, with some having zero weight (SCLE, BRAY, etc.), some having negative weight (BIZR, ANAR), some with weights of 1 (GLAS, WOOD, etc.), and some with a weight of 10+ (DMND, VIBR, BREL).
    • The weight of elements like PIPE, STOR, PPIP, PRTI, PRTO are determined by the weight of the elements inside of them. If there are no elements inside of them, then they have a weight of 1.
    • The weight is outputted to FILT in binary, with negative weights ranging from 0 to 268435456, and positive weights ranging from 268435458 (268435457 acts as the zero weight) to 536870912. This is assuming that FILT has a 29-bit wavelength.

    Uses:

    • Competition Qualifiers! You could make a machine that checks if an entry meets a standard, for example: Weight.

    • Quality Control! You can make a device that ensures that all products made in your factory meet your standards.

Yes,but it would need some type of display.

It actually outputs onto FILT, but I guess it could show the weight when hovering over it.

    nice idea!

I like the concept, but I think this would be more useful if the scale outputted a spark when the vertical stack of particles on top of it reached its tmp

This would allow the above uses, plus the ability to make things like:

    Cave-in detectors

    Compact Volume sensors

    Smaller Counters

    Nice idea
