Smaller signs?

    Right now, signs can get a little bulky. How about an option for:

    1. Smaller signs.
    OR
    2. A "..." sign that opens up revealing text when you hover on it.
    OR
    3. More characters per sign.

    Edit: Signs with lines pointing towards right, left, up-right, up-left and up would be nice

    The restriction on how many signs you can have and how many characters you can put in one are pretty well tuned to more or less match the amount of text a save with real content should have at most. Reaching this limit is a good indication that you're doing something wrong. If you really want more text in your save than what signs allow, you can just use texters though.

    Just use your signs wisely or use a text writer! the most commonly used writer is by sandwichlizard. Type: 

    user:sandwichlizard for more saves from him. (Case sensitive)
