Can we have closable signs? Double click on the sign to close it, double click again to open it?

    It would be really useful.

You can "close" (read: delete) signs rather easily with the double-X rainbow tool in the Walls section.

that deletes walls and particles too. Also it "DELETES". I want closable signs.

Well, what do you suggest a closable sign should do beside disappearing when you close it?

I think what they meant is just the ability to hide signs. Thus a user could hide all the sign clutter and see the save, maybe referencing back to the signs by showing them again.

I wouldn't be against the option. Signs have been used a lot in saves and they've become quite cluttered at times over the main work. It would be convenient to just hide all signs instantly.

That does sound useful, it's just that the OP made it sound like this hiding of signs would work on a per-sign basis, which does *not* sound too useful as deleting a sign requires only one more click than it would require to click it to close it, and exactly the same number of clicks if closing it required a double-click.

If signs can be made less opaque it would work?

Really a good idea. On a per-sign basis, signs could act like minimizable windows, shrinking to a little button, maybe all in a row at one edge. Or maybe better, there could be a show/hide button next to the regular sign button, and all would just vanish and reappear like desktop sticky notes.

It could make  one's own saves easier to edit. It's a pain to put a sign back exactly where it was when it has to be moved to change a few pixels. At least with my eyesight it does :p

We need right click edit for signs. Toggled in the menu. Replaces selected right click element with edit tool when on the sign, rotates back to selected element when off sign.
