Hey, guys. Just want to show you my Stargates. I've made 3 of them so far, and I'm working on a fourth. Here is Stargate V1 LoadSaveBlock(34019); Here is Stargate V2 LoadSaveBlock(34301); And here is stargate V3, with my custom green color scheme. LoadSaveBlock(69905); Personally, I like V3 the most. What do you think?
Diissaster YOU DONT KNOW WHAT STARGATES DO??? OK... Calm down, MPSGA. Wait... Why am I talking in 3rd person? Anyway, stargates create stabile wormholes. Go through one gate, you'll get through the other gate almost instantly. In case you go through the gate that was connected to, your'e so dead :D. (For more information check "Stargate (device)" article in Wikipedia).
Anyway, they look great! Because I am a huge stargate fan I have to tell that I am very surprised to see something like that in PT and to see a new SG fan .
Next time you can also try to make the Stargate with Rubidium, this would show the possible instability of Stargates.
And here is Stargate V4! Now includes a Ramp and an "Original" themed DHD. LoadSaveBlock(73236);

Thanks, MPSGA. Not only have you been supportive, but you also gave me a sweet idea! Rubidium stargates? cool.
Edit: Like the NEUT Event Horizon effect? I was considering using INVS but I ran into some trouble getting it to go from dark blue to light blue... Hey, maybe i could use the NEUT to make the Chevrons of a Pegasus Gate like from SGA.
And someone else made this. LoadSaveBlock(71708); It gets pretty trippy if you wait XD. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then consider me flattered.
Hrm, when I read about the event horizon effect thing, I decided to mess around with the stargate by putting a sphere of glass inside and after a while I noticed very high speed neutrons escaping occasionally. They appeared as brief blips outside the ring, but with the persistent overlay, you can see them better.
There was also a stream of rainbow photons at one point, no idea where that came from.
Edit: I think the stream of photons that I saw was the Cherenkov effect. Also when I had the glass sphere filling almost the whole space, and it was already activated, TPT decided to crash when I activated the control panel again and the spark reached the first triangle.
