The topic:
I would suggest that there is a circulating moderator position, like someone known to be following the forum and game rules to be the special moderator of the day. This moderator have powers of a normal moderator, but is limited to one day. The position is given to another user the next day. The cycle repeats if the candidates list reaches the end.

Reason in suggesting:
There is a nice feeling that you are a moderator, at least for one day.
This is also a reason for obeying the forum and game rules.
Another is that it somehow keeps users that have been here for a long time from going away.

So, if you are reading this, what do you say?
