I've played TPT since the very orignal, and I have to say I really enjoy the creativity of the community. I have no Programming skills myself but have followed the community since I found this site early this year. So if I sound unreasonable please understand I don't know the limits of Powder Toy as some of you do.
Anyway now that, thats out of the way I have a Question/Suggestion
Q. Do portals transport particle temp.
Heres my example: I have an engine I'm making. This engine is going to use a 50/50 water/glow cooling mixture. So basicly between my 3 cylinders there is 2 gaps. The gaps as well as the radiator are setup like this. Portal Out at the top, Portal In at the bottom. This all works really well transporting the solution. Also in this setup I have a Thermostat on the Hot fluid line going into the radiator. What I noticed is that no matter how hot I get the engine the fluid going to the radiator through the portals never gets hot. Though if the water changes states into steam, it does raise the temp of my radiator. But only to the creation temp of the steam or the same temp you would get if you were just drawing steam.
So I'm guessing I have answered my own question.
Next on to my suggestion.
S. I think portals should transport particle temp.
I don't think this needs to be debated as its very simple to see how this application would benifit us all. Though like I said, I have no programing experience so this may or may not be possible at the current time.
Also since were on the subject of Portals, I have this to ask Simon. "Wheres Stickman's Companion Cube. TPT can be a dark lonely infinite void and even Stickmen need companion's."
