Element Idea - COPR

    Full Name: Copper
    Short name: COPR

Description: A conductive metal. Turns green when rusting.

    Melting point: 1084.62 °C

    Category: Electricity

    ___________________________________________________

If the COPR has been exposed to OXYG for too long, it will start to rust even more, and turn green. More exposure to OXYG will result in the green copper to turn into a powder, called Patina(PTNA), which is also green.

COPR is very conductive, even more conductive then METL. COPR doesn't heat up to much when exposed to SPRK or ELEC.

The melting point of copper is 1084.62 °C

This is one element I like

I like this idea. The COPR element in the next Science Toy release is a special metal that conducts more electricity than other metals except INST (which is now GRPH, graphene). This means that there is less of a delay between sparks while conducting. COPR can also be used to form the alloys RGLD (Russian Gold = COPR+GOLD, has same properties as GOLD) and BRAS (Brass = COPR+ZINC, generic metal). Copper in the science toy can also take the electron from chlorine ions and create a spark, and ZINC creates chlorine ions from ACID, so you can make wet cell batteries. I like the idea of oxidation into patina, so I'll get on it.

Maybe you can add it so that combining copper and tin make bronze. If you add aluminum or magnesium that will also work.

I'm not sure we need another basic metallic element. =/

I don't have tin right now, but copper and zinc make brass

A conductor that doesn't heat up so much would be useful. And copper is, after all, the grand-daddy of all real life electrical circuitry.

Aside from superconductors like graphene, that is. COPR in TST conducts more electricity than other conductors to reflect it's real life conductivity. INST is like a superconductor so I renamed it to GRPH, graphene

We don't need more solids, but COPR is more of a electricity type-element. METL heats up too much, and INST wire cannot be used in every situation. Maybe you should reconsider your post?
