I wrote a script which creates an element that behaves similarly to alcohol lamps' wicks, but with NITR.
You might want to be careful with the way you place your wick and the NITR container, lest you want the NITR to blow up inside the container.

Edit: I know the life of a WICK particle can get to numbers above 250 in normal conditions (with a maximum of 499), that is intended.
By the way, !set life wick x will give you a pratically everlasting source of fire if x is big number, and !set tmp wick -1 will give you an indestructible heat and pressure insulator. While those are simply side effects of how the element is scripted, it's always worth it knowing them.
