I was working on my first 4 bit ram today and i had my mouse in the right position, but I was on the wrong element. So when I clicked the right element i had spent ages trying to find that single pixel i had not done.

So i thought what if like the H key would switch to the element on the right and G to the element on the left.

So what do you guy's think?

Do you mean using the keys to switch between the selected element on the bottom bar or to move the cursor? Both suggestions sound great, however, both the g and h keys are in use. I think using ctrl-arrow keys (option or cmd for mac) would work as the key.

There is already a way to select a different element without moving the mouse: you can press 'e', type the name of the element, then press enter (selects the first result in the search box).

Alternatively, opening the zoom window (hold 'z' and click, then release 'z', zoom window will be centred on the mouse) might help you keep track of where you got to, if you have to move the mouse away for some reason.
