New power element idea

so, im sure im not the only ocd person here. when im trying to make like a space ship or something, and i try to add a battery to hold electricity from the reactor, it sometimes takes up too much space. so, instead of having a big space wasting battery thing, there could be a btry element that , upon being placed, doesnt give off any sprk, but when touching pscn and recieving sprk from that, the life property increases, and then, after that, produces sprk to any other conductor.

also, is it possible for there to be a positivly charged sprk and negatively charged sprk?

Go to electronics -> BTRY -> DONE.

    or use CLNE(SPRK)

Also neagtive and positive would'd be very useful

nah he means, a rechargable battery element... reactors create fluxuating outputs, so I think a buffer/storage would be useful.

even if you have a buffer, the irrgular output of the reactor means your getting less than 8 frame spark rate on average.  That means that you have to take power from the buffer at a rate slower than the average output rate of the reactor or you will have the same problem of irregular spark.  so you still wont get 8 frame spark rate.

I like the idea of a rechargeable battery, but it should only discharge if it makes a complete circuit? I'm not sure how that will be implemented.

What uses would a positively and negatively charged spark have? Also, it would break many electronics saves, and I don't think that developers would want to code in two more elements unless they think it will add new potential to tpt.

There are already good instances of a rechargeable battery element in mods. It might be outdated, but me4502's mod has one in it that works based on its life value. Another good idea for a rechargeable battery element would be the fact that it can be overcharged making it give off heat and eventually explode into BREL and ISOZ. I fully support having a rechargeable battery element implemented into the game.
