    granitic lava formed when you melt QRTZ and PQRT, has a very thick flow, and would fall slowly. the glow would be not as bright as normal lava, instead a dull red flare. 

    or it could behave the same kind of way was when the ctype of ice is lava

    with ambient heat on, the lava cools slowly, and when it solidifies, forms QRTZ with a tmp of 3, but only as long as  no elements like LN2, LOXY, FRZZ, WATR, CFLM, or anything that cools it quicker touch it.

    I'm gonna be that guy: Uses? And also, is this just going to replace Molten QRTZ? ie. When QRTZ / PQRT melts it turns into GLAV? That could break a lot of saves if this mechanic was introduced.
