I think that there should be a feature in which when gravity is vertical, the air in the top is colder than the air in the bottom so that there are more phenomenae like tornadoes and mushroom clouds. Fire will rotate in a torus shape when rising, dragging some cold air below it along with any movable elements below it and for tornadoes, when hot air is made to rise very rapidly and mix with the cold air, it will rotate, making everything like powder, gas and light liquids rotate around it and be thrown around by it. This will not break saves because you can turn this on and off and will also work when gravity is radial.

Also, if the air in the top is colder than the air in the bottom, what prevents convection from happening? Or simply heat dissipation? Should we turn these off too?

I did say that it will be optional if you want it or not, depending on what you want to make happen.

     1. I meant two spinning circles rising upwards. I said torus to make you understand better.

    2. If ambient heat does what I said, why is it that whenever somebody makes a mushroom cloud save, they need frames to make the actual shape or BCOL to form the lower part rather than turning on ambient heat? Even if it does do that, it doesn't make the fireball spin, it just disperses slightly and then dissapears.

How do you know? Did you try it?

I was also thinking shockwaves from explosions. I know you are going to argue that explosions already do make shockwaves but that's not exactly a shockwave, it's just a change in air pressure that causes everything to swirl around and move strangely but IRL the shockwave travels much much much faster than the fireball and thats the first thing that hits the surroundings like in the gun's barrel in which the shockwave from the explosion propells the bullet.

How did you do that and how can I exploit it? :^)
