Energy Element Graphics Change

I did these in my mod and they worked quite well, reduced lag and looked better.

    1. PHOT-Replace the graphics function with the one from PROT, except change it so that the glow color is pure white (Seriously just copy and paste over, then change the firer, fireg, fireb, etc...) That way it reduces lag, looks better (Seriously PHOT logos look like blobs on fancy) etc...

    2. NEUT and ELEC - Change the graphics function to the new SPRK graphics function, it looks much nicer and seems faster, plus it's easier to keep track of the particles

All the new particles, PROT, GVRT, etc... don't seem to use the fire glow so why not

What does your version of PHOT look like in this save?

The reason for rendering PHOT with heavy fire glow and FIRE_ADD (rather than FIRE_BLEND as in PROT and GRVT) is so that additive blending of coloured photons (as in that save) works nicely. Glow also makes them look as though they're bright particles / emitting light.

PROT and GRVT do use fire glow, just a very weak one.

Yes I know but I think the phot glow is too intense and makes logos and such look too bloby.

The main purpose of photons is to behave in a vaguely light-like manner, rather than to make logos. If PHOT isn't well suited to logos, surely there's some other element you could use instead?

It's just a bit annoying and I think it looks better. OK So what about NEUT or ELEC?
