A Diode idea

A continuous loop is always a good idea to automate machinery. It allows you to deliver a spark in a time set by the length of wire. The only problem, however, comes when you try to add the spark to the loop. What happens is that you get two sparks, one traveling in each direction, and when they meet the half way point, they collide and cancel each other out. So, I propose that we have a diode, which makes sure that an electrical spark only flows in one direction.

Here's an example of what I mean

    PSCN+NSCN next to each other.

It's really easy to make the spark travel in just one direction.

1)Make something like a loop but with ends. Like this for example:

     ___

    |

    |___|

    2)Spark one end.

    3)Let it move a while

    4)Pause

    5)Complete the loop

    Oh; well that works well
