First of all: VRS2. Maybe this is pointless, just floating the idea: VIRS that keeps the state of matter of the element it infects. For example, touching GAS it becomes VS2G (?) and touching DUST it becomes VS2P (virus powder). But it VRS2 it heated it won't become VS2G. Maybe it's useless, but just sayin'.
Second: Non-flammable mode. Basically running it without FIRE, PLSM, LAVA, SMKE. It would be nice sometimes to look at saves or even just mess around without everything blowing up in your face. Other elements of heat simulation could still work.
P.S. A while since I've been around. Is there any way of pushing necroposts from 2012 back to the swamp from whence they came? It makes everything look kind of dead, although maybe it actually is.
Two things:
The necroposts are probably not going to go away,
And Fire things are sort of essential to the way some saves actually work. You could mod a bit if you wanted, and VIRS actually can have three states of matter, gas liquid solid, it just needs a bit of coaxing.
What I was saying about FIRE I meant as an optional mode, like walls, newtonian gravity or ambient heat. I know that VIRS has three states of matter I just was suggesting having an extra non-heat-affected version that stuck with the state of matter of the source material. Actually, another thought - this could lead to VS2E - energy particles like ELEC or PHOT that transmitted VRS2. Any thoughts?
Edit: what property controls when VIRS, VRSG etc. start to disappear - and what to type to prevent it?
