Since there wasn't one available, I decided to compile my own.

    I'm going to guess:
Used a file transfer program to turn the PC into Mac ready, then release it. Am I right?

BTW I have Xcode and all the developer applications. Vanadium and I both have MacBooks and we have been trying to compile for months with no luck so if you could please give me some form of instructions that would be awesome :D

Compile SDL from source (get it from the website) and do sudo make install, then do make powder-x. And the zip file is working fine on my end. Have you tried doing it in the Terminal? (unzip powderbeta.zip)

What the hell :< Make a better instructions lol, I want to know too!

I've been doing that pretty much since I found out how to do it 'my way' but it makes a unix executable file instead of just a simple standalone app with the icon and everything like how you did it, and that file is pretty much launched from the terminal, I do this on whatever source I use but it's really annoying and I rather have an .app like yours so I can share with others too, so please thank you!

ZebraineZ, you're the one who gave me the idea! Oh, and I just made a copy of the application and replaced the executable inside.
