Diamond should be able to melt!

Don't you think diamond should be able to melt, at extremely high temperatures? In real life diamond can melt. Just a thought. Also I think higher temperatures should be added for extra fun!

I agree with the second idea (for extreme air effects when the heat is too much), but Diamond shouldn't be realistic. It would break saves and you wouldn't have that inert, BOMB and DEST-proof, DMG-not-detonating, magical material.

No.Just because real life says diamond can melt doesn't mean it should in TPT.Also,it would probably break a lot of saves in TPT.

not really. if all saves has posted in a version before the Molten Dmnd update into a new element called "IDES(indestructable)" that WILL NOT break older saves, while new kind of saves can be maked.

Meh. Why not just add a BDND?

There are no plans on making DMND meltable or breakable. Probably because things in the TPT universe are different than those in real life?

Not to mention if things were based on every aspect of real life physics and reactions it would be boring.

You technically CAN make molten diamond through console commands

There are no reactions in tpt that involve temperatures over 7000 kelvin, let alone the 8020 kelvin it simulates already...

Just think of it this way:

People use DMND because it is the ony unbreakable element besides the WALL group. I you were to make them breakable, then what element can people use to be indestructable.

electrode (except for protons), void (kinda useless for this), and I think there are others, just cant remember them all.
