    Dray- delete ray

    Colour: Light blue

    Description: Deletes its ctype

This element works similar to cray, except it deletes its ctype only.

    When sparked with:

Metl: It would delete the first particle of its ctype, tmp customising the distance, tmp2 number of particles, whichever comes first. Use 65535 if not sure.

Pscn: It would replace the particle chosen by ctype with the particle life (you can type the element name in directly eg. !set life dray watr). Same tmp and life usage as above.

Inst: It would delete a category of particles, determined by ctype. (Ctype 0 is all, 1 is the first from the top, etc.) Same tmp and life usage.

Inwr: It would delete all particles except the ctype. Same life and tmp usage.

Uses: Deleting particles, specific ones. Right now no element can act like replace mode.

I know there are many other uses and this would be a useful element.

Edit: I hit the post topic button too early.

Make tmp set number of particles and tmp2 set range from DRAY, it makes a lot more sense, and make life set the spawn ID for PSCN

What might be these uses be? Just use pscn for cray. Done. No need for a new element, only problem is diamond.

no, cray always starts with the pixel next to it. tmp2 of DRAY can start the line further away.

I miss the time of people suggesting actually FUN elements without people whining about uses.

     True.

    Also, cray can't do this:

    MDXXGGGXXXYYYYGGGYGY

    to

    MDXXXXXXXXYYYYXXXYXY

where m is metl, d is dray, x is empty, g is goo, y is a random solid element like wood.

I like the idea of not using dangerous CRAY(SPRK) to delete stuff, but this thread looks pretty dead to me.

    <hypocricy> Such quadruplebump </hypocricy>
