Gaseous elements

As tpt stands cuttently, there are molten versions of nearly every element by using LAVA(stuf),which at the moment does not have different individual properties between elements (besides melting points) such as colour and weight. Additionally, there is no generalised gaseous element. My ideas (probably for a mod, the tpt community would rise up if this was in the legit version):

    1. Adding more ctype-specific options to LAVA(xxxx) (colour, conductivity(for molten SALT/ molten metals), weight (for liquid sorters), etc.)
    2. Adding gaseous forms of most meltable elements by making BOYL(xxxx) read as "gaseous METL" for example in the HUD
    3. Adding solid forms of elements usually in the gaseous state as BRCK(xxxx)

    Usage:

    Sorting

Reduce the number of useless technical elements (BIZG, BIZS, VRSG, VRSS, WTRV, MWAX, PSTS, LRBD, LOXY, LN2)

Cool stuff (rubidium gas-gaseous explosive :o)

Make it easier to implement solid/liquid/gaseous forms that really should be there, but would occupy too many slots for its usefulness

    Realism (as an extra note)

Also, these gaseous states should form at different temperatures depending on the element, like how they currently melt at different temperatures.

Too much work I think, but IDK.

Wouldn't the whole thing just take a lot of work though? Interesting though.....

Saying "It would take a lot of work" isn't a reason that it shouldn't be made. The Powder toy was a lot of work, but that's why it's so complex and interesting. Anyway, the code is pretty much already there in LAVA

That was the idea. (forgot to mention it)

Realism is not a reason for implementing a element, its a side effect.

note how I said "as an extra effect". Besides, I'm not asking for this to be implemented into tpt official; just adding a suggestion.

Having a game-wide GAS element would be pretty neat and fairly simple, but for the most part there are too many elements that -wouldn't- turn to gas rather than simply melt for this to be of much use besides the neatness of it. It'd open a plethora of exploits like ice-lava, for example. Could be amusing! Dunno if it'd be a good idea for official or not.

I like the idea, I really do. Although the spirit of TPT is not to be realistic, I would like to see a mod sometime which increases the max temp and adds boiling/melting/freezing points to ALL THE ELEMENTS :D.
