Howdo you make a explosive more powerful

Just as the title says, how do you make an explosive more powerful? As in it produces more fire, pressure and smoke? I am sick of having to use nuclear elements as they just melt everything.
I have tried increaseing the flammable trait but it only makes the bloody explosive burn into plasma.

to get more pressure use C-5, for more heat with FIRE and no PLSM, give up.

You could layer many explosives such as C-4, MORT, TNT, and incase it in GLAS.
(Search layer, there are many layering tutorials)
