Velocity Compensation

Some amount of heat produced by reduction of particle velocity?
    Also, only some.

Makes those guns that shoot stone at ridiculous speeds make things melt, which is cool.

in other words, you mean friction. i want it too! but will it be hard to code?

If this idea does make it to TPT, I will need to make modifications with my Large Pixel Collider gun, because this so called "friction" might heat up the vulnerable parts, inevitably melting it apart.

Those types of guns is already possible, you can heat stone before shooting it.

Probably break saves, if a save uses FRAY but not for shooting.

make it an option in the menu and get uses and ill support

well stone would melt before it is hot enough to sufficiently melt other elements.

    being realistic...
What sort of relationship would the particle's velocity have with it's "heat"? I was thinking some kind of powered relationship as oppose to a linear relationship would mean that at lower velocities, not much heat is produced, but at higher velocities there is much more friction and heat

he wants friction so guns that shoot stuff will have the particle heat up and melt stuff instead of just breaking it

    with pressure/velocity.

Edit: This is not friction, he wants things when they hit something to make some heat.

It's not friction, it's just kinetic energy transforming into potential energy

well he means when you shoot something fast and you stop it it makes heat i think....

    exactly, that's what it is
