For being a group thread, I know. I'm no idiot xetalim, even if you may take me for one. I do also know this is one of the only legitament ways to get a group out there, seeing as the group page is for the most part broken.

of course not. I dont really care what your nationality is, seeing as I dont specify WHAT Navy we are representing. We are only using the United States Navy Rates and Ranks because I know all of those by heart.

All users are allowed to join this group. That is, provided that they act accordingly to the rules. (no trolling, spamming rude conduct, etc.) You do not need to be familiar with the ranks either. For example I have all the ranks for the U.S. Army memorized, but the Navy's ranks are different. I still was able to join the group regardless. I guess we really aren't representing any branch anyways, this is just a military structured group.
