My idea for BOX is that it is kind of a movable solid. It is like a movable solid in the way that it falls and moves, but does not rotate. You could draw with it and hollow it out just like a solid, but it moves horizontally and vertically. I thought that this would be a lot easier to code and would work in Powder Toy's pixel-grid setup. Also, what Kikinicij said.
Possible uses:
Bombs that can you can actually DROP
Missiles
Vehicles
Machines
Bullets
Tank shells
etc.
I hope that this makes sense and works!

Exactly!!
I wonder how many times moving solids have been suggested and not accepted... I am pretty sure the closest we can get to moving solids are self-propelled masses of materials powered by pstn/frme.
Gravity and pressure.
Would you be able to layer it like normal elements and have it mabye explode if it touched something below that activated it? *Just a thought.
This is an interesting concept. If it was like a transporter across the screen only it was floating in mid-air and just moved around and mabey if it have a way to program it on a set path around the screen that would be EXSTREAMLY usefull. That would partially reinvent TPTs saves and way of creating.
Good idea...
Yes, we need programable solids to be able to move on set paths on the screen to deliver something somewhere else. It might even be able to become a self building machine if someone modified it and gave it recources to create. You could even add boxes inside of boxes to do things inside of the transporter to speed up production or whatever else. THE POSSIBLITIES!!!
