I have everthing set for it to build, but it won't show up in the build output. Thus, causing it to complain that the element was not declared. D:< (yes, I declared it in ElementClasses.h)
1. Stop manually editing ElementClasses.h
2. Run generator.py and use those four.
3. If you still won't do that, just be sure you edit ElementClasses.cpp as well (Not sure if this is your problem, but still).
Besides that, I'm not really sure what else is going on, something isn't set up right.
No...generator.py erased my function updates D:< And ElementClasses.cpp is the file that's complaining it's not defined.
generator.py does not modify any files at all (except the four created). You can't possibly lose update functions.
Make sure your elements' *.cpp are being included in whatever IDE you are using.
