As greymatter said, sound effects will never be added to TPT, but if you do a search for "sound mod", you will find one that should do the job.

First off welcome to tpt. On the note of sound effects I don't think they should be added to the game ,and will most likely not be put in. People have asked about it before but it has not been put in yet. Sorry is this is rude.

HORRIBLE GRAMMAH!!! Plus, sound wil NEVER and I mean NEVER be added. Welcome to the extreme flood of sound based saves, the extreme increase in the size of TPT, and the murderously insane noobery of the forums overflowing with creations threads.

I know that in theory it's a perfect idea, maybe even implementable with an element that generates sound based on pressure, but in practice it would simply be too risky. For example, it would be relatively simple to build a device that generates tremendous pressure and then plays it as sound, busting people's eardrums. It would also probably be a bit buggy too, which could be a bit risky. In the future, just make sure to think of not just the upsides, but also the downsides.
