How can I run console commands in the C++ code? Is there some simulation function that lets me do this?

you can do both "!" commands or you can do any lua string.

you do the "~" key and that will open the console, the you do !set type/life/tmp/tmp2 xxxx zzzz (xxxx being the element you want to modifiy) (zzzz being the number you want) or I like to do calculator commands like this, (A=xxx B=zzz C=A+B print(C)
